LMP Resource Investments Ltd. is a private Calgary
based company that provides a vehicle for
companies to make small interest investments
directly into oil and gas exploration, development
and production.
LMP locates operations that are looking for partners and brings together a group of companies that are interested in direct investment but cannot afford the size of investment that the operating company is looking for partners to take.
LMP owns the interest in the project as trustee for the investment partner companies. For the fee LMP charges, we collect the investment funds from the partner companies, pay the cash calls to the operators, receive revenue from production and distributes it to the trust partner companies, signs agreements, AFEs and contracts on behalf of the trust partners, and prepare the monthly statements of revenue and expenses such that the partners can do their accounting and taxes.
